Sam Carto is the new Miss Kamloops.
Carto, sponsored by Qphoria Tanning and Wellness and Underwriters Insurance Agencies, was handed the coveted title on Friday night at the Sagebrush Theatre during the annual Miss Kamloops Ambassador Pageant.
Carto, who was also named Miss Congeniality, will serve as Miss Kamloops alongside princesses Kiera Ayres (sponsored by Western Canada Concrete Products) and Jessica Cochran (sponsored by the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group).
Thirteen young ladies were in the competition.
