City councillor Marg Spina (left) was on hand on Friday to officially cut the ribbon to open Donut King on the North Shore. Joining Spina were Donut King area manager Xuan Nguyen, Kamloops-Thompson MLA Cathy McLeod, Nguyen’s son, Jason, Louise Wiens, former manager of the North Shore Tim Hortons’ outlet, and Colleayn Mastin, former owner of Tim Hortons restaurants in Kamloops.
