Barriere Senior’s Carper Bowlers hosted a Fun Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the fall fair hall.
Players (58) attended from Lillooet, Ashcroft, Interlakes, Little Fort, Clearwater, Kamloops, and Barriere, making a total of 14 teams in all.
Players enjoyed the excellent lunch that was served, and a special thank you was given to the cooks and everybody who helped with set-up and clean-up.
All who attended agreed they had a good time, and are looking forward to the 2010 tournament.
Final results were:
First: Gloria Hutson - Lillooet, Allan Pocock - Lillooet, Mel Sasek - Clearwater, and Ernie Yungen - Barriere.
Second: Sherry Fossum - Interlakes, Jack Livingston - Little Fort, Dale Clearwaters - Barriere, and Eileen Vigar - Barriere.
Third: Kevin Scallon - Ashcroft, Bill Gloring - Clearwater, Nina Clearwaters - Barriere, and Donna Smith - Barriere.
Our Little Skunks; Bernie Lemley - Ashcroft, Inez Lopez - Ashcroft, Phil Letz - Kamloops, and Leah Fowler - Little Fort.
