The Clearwater Ski Club would like to personally thank and acknowledge the following groups, persons and attendees for making the Strawberry Tea Party a wonderful success: Farmers Market for involving the Ski Club in the celebration of 150’s of B.C. Spirit; Muriel Dunford (Val Molliet), Leighton Budd and Tammey Augustine for the great entertainment; District of Clearwater for the donation; Nicole Lacroix from Interior Health in organizing and splitting the cost of the bus service for the elderly;
Micki and Bob Sisson and Jean Nelson for the tasty organic strawberries; Hazel Wadlegger and her Jersey cow for the rich whip cream; Suzanne Wood, for the fresh flowers on the tables; Safety Mart Foods; Paul Robinson, Peter Barstow, and our emcee Stephanie Teare; and Jana / Imaginartworks, for the colorful posters.
And most all... a warm thank you to all the seniors, grandparents and strawberry lovers who attended this special event. Your donations, time, energy and laughter created a charming afternoon of entertainment, while pacifying the taste buds with fresh strawberry shortcake, chocolate covered strawberries and yes, strawberry tea. The club thanks each and every one of you for your contribution.
