Members of the Clearwater Breast Friends team that went into Kamloops on Sunday, Oct. 4, for the CIBC Run for the Cure show off their pink duds. There were 40 signed up and they raised $6399. Leslie Groulx has taken a team to Kamloops since 2000 and during that time they have raised approximately $35,000. This year the Kamloops site raised nearly $200,000 with 1,700 participants. Across Canada there were 170,000 walkers and runners at 56 sites – and they raised $26.5 million for the fight against breast cancer. Photo by Leslie Groulx
