The delivery
The Barriere Curling Club held a beginner curling clinic on Oct. 24. The clinic provided a historical introduction to curling, as well as some technical instruction. Among those attending were Dr. Shirley van der Merwe and her husband Wayne; two of the Club’s many new members. Dr. Shirley is shown practicing her delivery technique, while Wayne watches and awaits his turn. If you missed this clinic and are interested in learning to curl you can call 250-672-5112. The club is open most Saturdays from 10 a.m. until noon for curling practice and instruction.
