Dear Sir,

I wanted to pass along my thanks to the city for the excellent work done to create a seniors fitness area at George Little Park.

However, I think we are doing the citizens of Terrace a disservice by calling it a senior’s exercise area when in fact it would be beneficial for people of all ages to utilize the equipment there.

If the city is able to, I would suggest putting a shelter over top of the exercise area so it could be utilized throughout the year and also to protect it from the weather.

With more initiatives like this one, which provides no cost opportunities for exercise, the people of Terrace could one day claim the title of Healthyville!

Dr. Davis Lindsay,

Terrace, B.C.
