A SERIOUSLY injured male, reported to be covered in blood and screaming late yesterday afternoon, has passed away.
Terrace RCMP say they arrived to find the male had been assaulted and seriously injured in Thornhill at about 4:15 p.m. yesterday, November 17.
He was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital and later medevaced to Vancouver where he died of his injuries, say police.
Police arrested a suspect and say it was not a random act as both the suspect and victim knew each other.
The police investigation continues and further information will be released once it becomes available.
