TWO ambulances, three police vehicles, the fire department first responder and a fire truck rushed to the aid of a driver involved in this accident about 2km north along the Kitsumkalum forestry road this afternoon. Police at the scene wouldn't go into details about the crash, citing the ongoing investigation. Skid marks in the gravel appeared to show that the vehicle was travelling south when it went off the road, plowed through the ditch and came to a stop in the trees. The windshield was smashed and the passenger side windows broken out but the teenage driver did not appear to be hurt. It's not known if there were any passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
