THE HOMELESS outreach program in Terrace is being helped thanks to a $1,810 cheque from Wal-Mart.

The money was presented recently by Wal-Mart assistant manager Rob Viergever to Crystal Zaharchuck.

She organized a circus-themed entertainment evening recently, raising $1,810 for the program which runs out of the All Nations Centre.

Wal-Mart matched that dollar amount through a community grants program that it maintains and supports.
