Always on the lookout for exciting new talent, legendary musician, producer songwriter David Foster has his radar set on another rising star – Toronto-based actor/singer Michael Hughes.
Hughes is one of two Canadian talents asked to join David Foster and Friends when the North American tour makes their final stop Nov. 8 at General Motors Place in Vancouver.
Hughes will be introduced to local Theatre North West (TNW) audiences this month as Dean in the Elvis era inspired play, All Shook Up which runs from Nov. 19 to Dec. 6. Hughes award-winning, self-titled debut album is currently in rotation on radio stations across Canada including CBC Radio, where he was a featured artist.
He performed as Gilbert Blythe last summer in the hit Canadian musical Anne and Gilbert which played at Jubilee Theatre, Prince Edward Island. For his part, Foster is famous for finding exceptional new talent and molding his chosen vocalists into star quality performers.
