Festival sold out
In a city known for last-minute ticket sales, the Theatre North West Wine Festival on Saturday, Nov. 14 has sold out in record time. This is the third year in a row that the popular festival – TNW’S biggest fund raiser of the year – has sold out, said organizer Jovanka Djordjevich.
The news is good for the professional theatre company but not so great for people who waited until the last minute, she notes.
However there’s still a chance to attend Prince George’s “wine event of the year.”
Festival organizers decided to release six more pairs of tickets for the event which takes place from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at The Exploration Place.
These last 12 tickets will be available at six local restaurants in a silent auction.
The silent auction will take place until Friday, Nov. 13 at 9 p.m. at the following establishments:
Coast Inn Lounge, Moxie’s, Ric’s Grill, The Publik, Twisted Cork, White Goose Bistro. Tickets go to the highest bidders at each restaurant.
The silent auction closes on Friday, Nov. 13 at 9 p.m. Tickets will be delivered to the lucky bidders’ doors that evening.
