Light Up set for Wednesday

Skating, hayrides, live music and hot cocoa are just a few of the holiday activities planned for this years 16th annual Civic Light Up happening on Nov 25.
Everyone is invited to come down to the Civic Plaza located outside the Prince George Civic Centre. Activities start at 6 p.m. with the countdown to the Light up and the arrival of the jolly man himself Santa Claus is at 7 p.m.
Dress warm, bring a smile and enjoy the many sights, sounds and activities.
Remember to bring your skates there will be skating at the outdoor oval from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Hitch a ride on the free hayride located in the Civic Plaza from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Live music and mascots will be at the Civic Plaza from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Stay warm with a free cup of hot chocolate at the Civic Plaza from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The P.G. Public Library is having a free Light Up Story Time from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and at 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Be creative at the Two Rivers Gallery and make a mini holiday lantern for free.
Go inside the Civic Centre and explore the Festival of the Trees from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. tickets available at the door.
The Salvation Army will be on location excepting donations.
Hosted by the Prince George Civic Centre, the Prince George Public Library and the Two Rivers Art Gallery this annual event attracts over 1000 people every year.
