Wet and cooler weather has vastly improved forest fire and smoke conditions leading to the lifting of the Binta Lake and West Nadina Fire evacuation orders and alerts over the last few days.
Lindsay Carnes, fire information office from the Northwest Fire Centre confirmed Monday that the Binta Lake Fire is now 90 per cent contained and the number of firefighters on the line has been reduced considerably to 91.
