AFFNO (Association des Francophones et Francophiles du Nord-Ouest) is hoping to introduce a new service for seniors.
In a letter to council, AFFNO director Diane Dessureault said it plans to operate a library on wheels in both English and French for seniors who are ill or unable to leave their homes.
The library would visit these seniors twice a week and offer books and DVDs.
AFFNO has applied for a grant and requested a letter of support, to which council unanimously agreed.
