The parishioners of Christ the King Parish are very please to have Father Larre preaching their 2009 Parish Mission.
He will be speaking at all Saturday and Sunday masses on the weekend of Novermber 21 to introduce the mission and will give one hour mission talks each evening from Monday, November 23 to Thursday, November 26.
There will be mass each evening followed by the mission talk at 7:30 p.m.
Then on Friday, November 27 Father Larre will give a special workshop on children for parents and teachers from 9 a.m. until noon.
The topics for each mission night are:
q November 23 - Clinging to Faith in a Godless Society
q November 24 - Maintaining Hope in Hopeless Situations
q November 25 - Building a Loving Home in a Selfish Society
q November 26 - Bring Love to a Violent, Hateful Society
Father Larre lives in Coquitlam, BC and continues to help children and their families at the Bosco Centre. He conducts training workshops for parents and teachers and preaches parish missions across Canada and abroad.
Christ the King is pleased to invite and welcome the community of Kitimat to join us.
Refreshments and time for socializing will follow the mission talks each evening.
