Propaganda over sensibility

Not only is life carbon based, but without carbon dioxide there’d be no life, as it is essential for photosynthesis. They pump it into greenhouses to enhance growth. Seen from space, planet Earth is greener then ever now that there is more CO2.That it’s now called an “environmental poison” demonstrates the customary triumph of propaganda over common sense. CO2 is 0.4% of the atmosphere, and of that about 4% is man provided. There is no shred of evidence that it causes warming. And there wasn’t any warming for 11 years, despite more CO2.

The guilt over “lavish lifestyle” will be effectively eliminated if the UN Copenhagen Climate Conference achieves its goals, namely, the Western nations to drastically reduce their economies, and to pay climate reparations to theThird world for thesins of Industrial Revolution. A compensation for “lost opportunities, resources, lives, and dignity. The amount is set between US$70 and 140 billion every year, indefinitely. The payments’d be administered by the UN, whose corruption and lack of transparency were once again revealed by the oil-for- food program in Iraq fiasco.Under this scheme, Canada’be dispropotinately hard hit. not only is it large and cold, so it uses more energy for transport and heating, it also extracts and proceses resources, which further increases our “carbon footprint”. UN would effectively take control of our economy. We’d pay Third world cleptocracies to buy tanks, rockets, and villas on theRiviera. And make some UN honchos very rich. This is what the future may hold. And none of it will have any effect on the climate. But of course to those who got the True Religion of Environmentalism, none of this matters.
