Telkwa council will be reviewing the four prototype designs that Archetype brought back to council depicting new village welcome signs, as well as signs to point out subdivisions and village properties.
“We’re striving to give the viewer an accurate prediction of what a visitor can expect here,” Archetype Enterprises representative Tom Grassmyer said.
“We want to use local elements.”
Archetype was contacted in June to come up with the designs.
However, the four ideas brought to council are just springboards, Grassmyer said, and changes, or mixing up one concept with another, is welcomed.
“Please be critical when you go over it,” said Grassmyer. “The worst thing I can get is indifference.”
