Houston seniors center hosted a day of carpet bowling on friday Oct 23. Seniors from Houston, Granisle and Telkwa made up the six teams of four players each.This event is one of several put on by seniors from these three communities during the course of the fall and winter months. Always well attended, they are a lot of fun with coffee and refreshments and the chance to meet seniors from elsewhere. Our thanks go to Doreen and Joan for lunch and Anne, Irene, Edna, Eric, Chris and the others for their help to make it all go smoothly.
