Entertainment from all around in Let R Buck Saloon
Published: June 26, 2008 8:00 AMThe Let R Buck Saloon behind the Stampede Grandstand will be hopping with entertainment during Stampede this weekend.
Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. in the Let R Buck Saloon there will be a special time for children and families.
The City of Williams Lake is hosting a performance by the Arts Performance Group of Wuhan City Youth Palace in the Republic of China.
The program was founded in 1956 and includes children between the ages of eight and 12. The children perform traditional uplifting music and dance of the Hubei people.
The karaoke competition returns to the Stampede Friday evening in the Let R Buck Saloon starting at 9 p.m. after the evening rodeo events.
Saturday and Sunday starting at 5 p.m. Clancy Wright and the Silverados will be on stage following the afternoon rodeo session. Saturday and Sunday evening starting at 9 p.m. Canadian country star Ken McCoy and his band Crosswinds will be lighting up the stage in the Let R Buck Saloon.
Definitely not a “stand there and play kinda guy,” Ken McCoy and his band put on a high-energy show.
