Chamber sponsors hand made fair

A Made in the Cariboo Fair will take place at the Tourism Discovery Centre Saturday, Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists and artisans who wish to participate must register by Monday, Nov. 16. The entry fee is $15 per space. For more information or to register, call the Chamber of Commerce office at 250-392-5025.

Hospital Trust gala

Tickets for the Cariboo Foundation Hospital Trust’s Christmas Gala fundraiser at the Gibraltar Room Nov. 28 to raise funds for equipment at Cariboo Memorial Hospital are available at Cariboo GM.

The OAPO Branch 93 will hold their annual bazaar, bake sale and lunch at the Seniors’ Centre on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m

Potters help to

support food bank 

The Cariboo Potter’s Guild, Cariboo Art Society and Williams Lake Spinners and Weavers are preparing for their annual Christmas Show and Sale on Dec. 4, 5, and 6. The sale will include handcrafted ornaments, pottery, fabrics, woven fashions, paintings, cards and more.

AThis year the Potter’s Guild will include a special fundraiser called Loving Bowls in support of the Williams Lake food bank. The potters are busy making wheel thrown and hand built bowls for the food bank project.

The Christmas Show and Sale takes place at the Cariboo Arts Centre across from Kiwanis Park on Fourth Avenue, Dec. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.; and Dec. 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
