RCMP: Alphonse did not die as result of crime

Williams lake RCMP report that 66-year-old Joseph Phillip Alphonse, Sr., whose body was found Thursday morning in Boitanio Park, did not die as a result of any suspicious circumstances.

An autopsy performed in Kamloops Friday revealed Alphonse's death was not the result of any criminal act. The Williams Lake RCMP have concluded their investigation

Police and paramedics found Alphonse's body at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
