Artists in the Gardens

Visitors stroll through the garden, stopping often to smell the flowers, admire a water feature or listen to the music.

A beautiful, sunny, breezy day was the perfect backdrop to Artists in the Gardens where six gardens, complete with artists, musicians and reader/writers opened their gates and welcomed the public.

A Quesnel Art Gallery fundraiser, organizers happily reported more than 180 tickets were sold and each venue enjoyed a steady stream of visitors throughout the six-hour period.

“Visitors all day were complimenting everyone on a wonderful event and look forward to next year,” Don Hendry said.

Despite some of the out-of-the-way locations, each venue was well-attended Hendry said.
