The last 100 Mile Outriders saddle series gymkhana went off well on Aug. 16, despite competition from a Williams Lake event that was rescheduled for the same date.

Jen Felce, the local organizer, said they lost a few of their

regular competitors to the switch, but a few new riders showed up to take their place.

“In all, we had the same amount of competitors, which was 30,” said Felce. “The weather was good. Not too hot and not too cold.”

Their very last event of the season takes place on Sept. 27 and Felce said that’s where all of the best prizes will be handed out.

People can expect a few new fun races as results from this gymkhana do not figure into the year-end results and awards.

“I’m not sure what the games are going to be but it will be good. I have lots of giveaways for the competitors,” said Felce.
