The Women’s Centre in 100 Mile House was closed for a few days due to staff members affected by the flu virus.

“We thought it best to close, rather than infect everyone who came in,” says Charlotte Stockford, who recently took over as office co-ordinator at the centre.

The rogue virus also caused cancellation of last week’s scheduled annual general meeting.

Stockford says they are now back up and running, and as soon as their AGM has been rescheduled, a revised date will be publicized.
