ShareAfternoon of glitz and glamour
Published: September 30, 2008 7:00 PMAn Afternoon of Glitz and Glamour will be held at the 100 Mile House Community Hall on Oct. 18 from 2 to 6 p.m.
The event will include a fashion show with music, wine and cheese, and is planned as a fundraiser for Mill Site Lodge and Fischer Place.
“They need so many things so badly,” said Pat Sheets, auxiliary member. “This isn’t just for older folks.”
A wide assortment of jewelry, cosmetics, candles, gifts and Red
Hat fashions will be available,
as well as a nail technician and
massage therapist, door prizes and a raffle.
Mayor Donna Barnett will open the event, which will include current fashions from Class Act Formal Wear and other local merchants.
Tickets must be purchased in
advance, for adults only (no minors) and are available for $10 at Donex
and Didi’s.
