The second 70 Mile House fire department poker tournament will be held Nov. 28 at the 70 Mile Community Hall.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and play starts at 1 p.m.
There will be lunch available at noon and supper at 5 p.m. There are several coffee breaks through the day.

Bingo
Bingo was held on Oct. 22 at Seventy Mile Access Centre (SMAC).
There were 16 players and neither of the big pots were won. The loonie pot stands at $204 and the G-ball pot at $214.
The next bingo is on Nov. 12 at
SMAC; doors open at 6:30 p.m. and play starts at 7.

SMAC meeting
Seventy Mile Access Centre will hold a general
meeting on Nov. 5 at the centre, starting at 7 p.m.

Fun day
The final figures for the Family Fun Day on Sep. 5 are in, and it brought in around $3,700.
Each of the five fire departments participating collected more than $700 each.
Bookmobile
The Thompson Nicola bookmobile will be in the area on Nov. 12.
It will be at the South Green Lake fire hall from 10 to 11 a.m., and at
the 70 Mile General Store from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
