2014 BC Winter Games in Mission, B.C.

The 2014 BC Winter Games will be hosted in Mission B.C., with hundreds of the best young athletes converging from all corners of the province Feb. 20-23. The BC Winter Games will see 2220 participants competing in 18 sports, including; skiing, figure skating, speed skating, curling and hockey. It also features several indoor sports like archery, badminton, gymnastics, judo, and karate.

Most of the competitions will take place in Mission with some events in Hemlock, Whistler, the Township of Langley and Abbotsford.

More than 2,000 community volunteers are involved in planning and staging the BC Winter Games. The Corporate and Funding Partners of the Games include The Province of B.C., Mission Record/Black Press, Jazz Air, Global BC, the City of Mission, CN and Mission Public Schools. These partners, along with local business support through the Friends of the Games program, ensure the success of the BC Winter Games.
